BRENTON LENGEL (Playwright) is a playwright, poet, actor, and Appalachian Trail 2000-Miler. He holds a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Kentucky where he trained under playwright Herman D. Farrell and State Poet Laureate Gurney Norman. Brent’s first full-length play, Trojan Men was solicited by Actors Theater of Louisville for the ‘08-’09 Humana Festival of New American Plays reading cycle and is currently a semi-finalist for the 2010 Eugene O’ Neill National Playwrights Conference. His second play North to Maine has won first runner-up in the James Rodgers National Playwrights Competition and was solicited for Humana’s ‘09-’10 reading cycle. Recently, his short play Snow White Zombie was produced by Manhattan Theatre Source and won Audience’ s Choice in the 2010 Estrogenius Festival, and his play Rank Jumping was workshopped at the O’ Neill and produced by FullStop Collective as part of the 2011 Foreplays. MELINDA PROM is a New York based theater director and writer. Her work has been seen at the Soho Playhouse, Algonquin Theater, End Times Productions, Pace University, 45th Street Theater, Looking Glass Theater, Michael Chekhov Theater Company and The American Theater of Actors. Upcoming projects include Vignettes of the Apocalypse at the Kraine Theater in June. Melinda is a graduate of Carleton College (MN), the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NY) and the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab 2010 (NY) and is generally a kick-ass person.
